Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing fresh, quality sandwiches in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Subway standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling additional items when appropriate.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time efficiently to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout the shift.
- Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously.
- Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness, including dining areas and kitchen spaces.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in food industry roles such as cashiering or serving is advantageous.
