The Role As Medical Office Assistant (MOA), you will be the friendly face and the welcoming voice of our multi-disciplinary clinic. You will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience from the moment they step through our doors.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and checking them in.
- Answering Phone calls.
- Schedule and appointment management.
- Third Party Health Insurance for allied healthcare workers & MSP billing for doctors.
- Taking payments for allied healthcare workers.
- Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality in various EMRs.
- MOA services for various physicians and practitioners
- Medical billing
- Working with Independent contractors and employees to optimize their schedules.
- Assisting with administrative tasks to support the clinic's daily operations.
- Multi-tasking in a fast paced environment and interacting with people all day.
- Management of clinic cleaning protocols and end of day clean up.
The Ideal Candidate for the position of Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
- Has strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- A Can-Do Attitude: Positive, self-starter who rises to the challenge and takes personal responsibility for solutions and results. Approaches work with a positive attitude, has great people skills, and a sense of humour.
- Hands-on experience working with various administrative software is desirable and experience with EMRs is a large plus.
- Patient Empathy: Delivering relevant value to patients by listening, understanding, and reflecting what is heard and providing solutions. Exceptional customer service ethic including initiative and high expectations for quality.
- Humble: Respectfully collaborating in the best interest of the patients, company, team, and self.

- You are resilient and have what it takes to work with vulnerable and sometimes difficult people.
- You are very organized. This job is stressful for people who are not natural multi-taskers and super organised.
- Experience with Jane Clinic Management software, MedAccess EMR, Accuro EMR and billing insurance companies is considered an asset.

- Computer skills (essential) - this is a fast paced job, without computer skills you will not make it through the probation period as you will not be able to keep up with the pace.
Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
