Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face customers rely on for a seamless fueling experience and exceptional service. In this energetic role, you will handle daily operations at the cashier stations, ensuring efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service through clear communication and friendly interaction
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately
- Assist customers with fueling their vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station, including fueling areas, store shelves, and checkout counters
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, perform basic math calculations, and manage cash handling procedures
- Monitor inventory levels of convenience store products and restock merchandise as needed
- Provide information about products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Organizational skills to keep work areas tidy and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift moderate loads as required
