Description
Answer Trailer Rental and Sales is looking to add a Heavy Equipment Technician – Transport Trailer Mechanic Journeyman. We are a well-known business located in Spruce Grove. Our company is continuously growing and expanding and now it is time to add to our team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide quality workmanship in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of our equipment and customer equipment. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting/diagnostics on trailers
- General maintenance and repairs on trailers
- Models Excellent Housekeeping Practices
- Completes all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Trailer CVIP inspections and required repairs
Required Qualifications:
- Heavy Duty - Transport Trailer Mechanic with minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Transport Trailer CVIP license
- Highway Trailer and Off-Road Trailer repair experience
- Positive attitude and team player
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving ability
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in house programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding duties
- Safety contentious
- Has own tools relevant to the trade for daily use (shop provides specialty tools and equipment)
