Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling high-quality kitchen cabinets with precision and efficiency, contributing to the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinetry for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong carpentry, woodworking, and assembly skills, along with experience working with various hand and power tools. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate cabinet construction.
- Assemble cabinet components using hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment as needed.
- Measure and cut materials precisely according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Perform tasks such as rebar installation, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, or other related construction activities as required.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Use woodworking skills for tasks involving cabinetry, restoration, or custom modifications.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in the installation of completed cabinets at job sites when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinetry assembly, carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for assembly tasks.
- Experience with CNC machinery or concrete forming is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of various construction trades such as masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, or siding is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Prior handyman experience or construction experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
