About The Role
The Technician, Reference Standard is responsible for reference standards activities including the reception, storage, inventory, request/dispensing, shipping and tracking of reference standards (RFS).
What You’ll Do Here
- Manage the request and dispensing of reference standards (RFS)
- Manage the inventory of the RFS
- Handle the receipt, shipping, storage, and tracking of RFS
- Manage the RFS Material safety data sheet (MSDS)
- Manage the RFS Certificate of analysis (CoA)
- Respect Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures
- Maintain all RFS logs
Conduct all work in compliance with applicable SOPs, GCPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- College or bachelor degree in health sciences or equivalent. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu
- Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
- Attentive to details.
- Customer-focused.
- Good communication
- Works well within a team
- Software knowledge in MS-Office, Outlook, Access
- Knowledge of FDA-GLP, GCP and TPD regulation is an asset.
- Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical field is an asset.
Knowledge of Watson LIMS will be an asset
