Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery. The Machine Operator will ensure high-quality production standards are met while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor steel cutting machinery.
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and changeovers efficiently to meet production schedules.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation of production runs and machine logs.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs.
- Assist with assembly, packaging, or warehouse tasks as needed to support overall production flow.
- Follow safety protocols diligently and report any safety concerns or malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or press brake machines.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in machining, welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measurement tools like calipers.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including quality control standards and packaging procedures.
- Warehouse experience is a plus.
- Math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
