Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various related trades such as plumbing, welding, and appliance repair. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within commercial and residential settings, ensuring optimal system performance and safety compliance. The HVAC Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the comfort and safety of our clients' environments through expert troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
- Diagnose system issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system inspections, and cleaning
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems related to boilers, plumbing, or other building systems
- Conduct welding or fabrication work as needed for system repairs or modifications
- Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Maintain detailed service records and report on system performance
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC systems installation, maintenance, or repair
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing, furnace installations, AC installations and boiler operation
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
- Experience working with construction or maintenance teams preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC systems and building codes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
- Not afraid of ladder heights

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
