Our busy distribution warehouse specializes in delivering restaurant supplies to businesses across southern Ontario. Our warehouse team plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive the products they need, accurately and on time. We are seeking an experience Warehouse Associate to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in accuracy, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.
As a warehouse associate, you duties will include various tasks:
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Move products throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
- Inspect products and shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Label, organize, and maintain inventory locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Keep warehouse storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
This position involves heavy lifting and strenuous work, such as loading and unloading a truck by hand using a dolly. As such the following physical requirement are mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong stamina and manual dexterity.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 9:30am - 6:30pm. Wages are paid every 2 weeks, $18 per hour. For serious inquiries please call (647) 505-0267.
