Job Overview
The General Labour is responsible for various supporting tasks in the manufacturing environment. They will assisting various departments effectively operating numerous hand held tools and metal working equipment.
Duties listed may change as the Company evolves. Performing other duties as assigned is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as Customer needs.
· Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine controls, or control media within capabilities as required to ensure quality of production.
· Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment at all times.
· Operate Hand Held Equipment as required.
· Meet requirements as listed on the applicable Competency Document
Qualifications
· Three to Five years in a manufacturing setting.
· Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods and tools required in various processes.
· Solid comprehension of technical drawings.
· Ability to prioritize and mange conflicting demands.
· Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time.
