Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team of dedicated pet care professionals. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, a keen eye for detail, and experience in grooming a variety of dog breeds.
Responsibilities:
- Booking appointments for grooming services.
- Perform grooming services including but not limited to bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs of all sizes and breeds.
- Assess each dog's coat condition and skin health, and recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Communicate effectively with pet parents to understand their grooming preferences and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including sanitizing equipment and disinfecting surfaces. Daily clean up is required.
- Monitor the health and well-being of dogs during appointments ensuring a focus on safety and wellness at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their questions or concerns.
Requirements include:
- Valid grooming certification from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in grooming techniques for various dog breeds, including breed-specific styles.
- Strong knowledge of canine anatomy, coat types, and common skin conditions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners and colleagues.
- Passion for working with animals and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
