Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Landscape Supervisor to lead our team in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscaping, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. This role involves overseeing landscape maintenance activities, supervising staff, and collaborating with clients to achieve their vision for their gardens and outdoor areas.
Duties
- Supervise daily landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation.
- Lead a team of landscape workers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Plan and implement landscaping projects, including the design and installation of gardens and outdoor features.
- Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, identifying issues and implementing solutions as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Train new employees on landscaping techniques, safety practices, and company policies.
Skills
- Proven leadership abilities to effectively manage a team in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including irrigation systems and plant care.
