Omni Sport is an athletic industry equipment manufacturer that serves recreational facilities in North America and Worldwide. With personnel that were instrumental in the inception of dasher board manufacturing, we are proudly driving the continuing evolution of modern manufacturing for dasher board systems and other recreational facility equipment.
Omni Sport has a history going back over 40+ years in the athletic construction industry. Our quality commitment to our clients and their facilities drives us to continuously improve while maintaining the craftsmanship we are known for.
Main Responsibilities
- Apply cladding materials to dasher board systems in accordance with production specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with the assembly, fabrication, and finishing of recreational equipment and related products.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Prepare materials and components for production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Generally, all work is done inside the building, which means very little exposure to working in harsh outside elements. On rare occasions there is a requirement to go off site.
Qualifications/Requirements
Someone who is:
- strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated, punctual and a team player with a positive attitude are characteristics that are essential to helping our team be a success
- able to follow instruction, understand and adhere to safety policies
- pays attention to detail
- able to perform general labour tasks such as lifting, carrying and moving materials
- familiar with using hand and power tools
- physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and reaching.
- Valid CSTS 2020
Omni Sport Inc. offers:
- Monday to Friday schedule, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
