Job Description:
Operate a Feeler 1300-VB & Hass VF-6 / VF-4 CNC Vertical CNC Machines; Create, load, and examine CNC programs from Fusion 360 CAM software; Set up tools, indicate and load materials onto CNC Machines; Carry out machining of Plates & Small Components, Drilling Cycles, Boring, Plate work, 3D Milling & Finishing. To the highest accuracy & Surface finish; Carry out in process inspection to the authorized level; Identify and report errors and suggest improvements to Plant Manager; Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, clean and organized; Carry out any other duties reasonable within capability as required by the Plant Manager
Qualifications:
Fully skilled 3 years minimum experience; Read/Understand blueprints - 1st/3rd Angle Projection; Able to Program using Fusion 360 CAM Software; Work to specified tolerances as stated on prints with various materials; Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment; Able to work under own initiative & meet timelines as set out; Flexible, courteous, friendly and positive approach; Discretion, confidentiality and professionalism always; Operator should have their own tools to perform machining duties
Additional Information:
- 10-hour shift & 4 on a Friday
- Monday to Thursday 4:15pm to 2:45am
- Friday 3.00pm to 7.00pm
- Overtime after 44 hours
- Weekends as needed
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
