WIZE Computing Academy provides engaging STEM, coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and technology programs for children in schools and community centres throughout Metro Vancouver. About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and community-minded instructors to deliver after-school STEM and technology programs to elementary and middle school students.
This position is ideal for teachers, educational assistants, university students, retirees, STEM professionals, homeschool educators, and others who enjoy working with children and are seeking meaningful part-time work.

- Programs begin in September 2026.
- Most classes take place on weekdays between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
- Hours vary depending on program schedules and registrations.
- This position is intended as supplemental income and is not designed to provide full-time employment.
- Successful candidates must be able to commit to teaching assigned programs consistently throughout each session.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coding, robotics, STEM, AI, and technology programs to children.
- Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by WIZE.
- Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation, creativity, and problem-solving.
- Arrive on time and prepared for all classes.
- Communicate professionally with staff, schools, parents, and students.
- Manage classroom behaviour appropriately and ensure student safety.
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and care of program equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp, youth leadership, or educational experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in STEM, coding, robotics, or technology education.
- Reliable transportation is an asset.
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
