GP Brewing Co is a locally owned and operated beverage manufacturing facility that has been producing high-quality, crushable, affordable beer since 2016. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily production operations across brewing, packaging, and facility workflow.
This role is responsible for maintaining production efficiency, product quality, workplace safety, and team accountability while ensuring operational targets are met. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically minded, solutions-driven, and capable of leading in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
We are seeking strong candidates who are eager to lead a growing team and are offering relocation assistance across Alberta to the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily brewery, packaging, distillery and production operations
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to meet production targets
- Monitor production efficiency, quality standards, and operational performance
- Lead and support production staff while maintaining accountability and productivity
- Assist in development of production budgets and financial forecasts
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Plan and schedule preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, sanitation standards, and company policies
- Develop and improve production processes to increase yield
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines
- Use computers and Microsoft Office to enter data and process information
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta drivers’ license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, production, brewing, operations, or as an Executive Chef is considered an asset
- Punctuality and full-time availability
- Management experience
- Mechanical aptitude and operational awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and hold teams accountable
- Strong computer proficiency
