Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings
- Fabricate and weld valve bank frames and other welding requirement
- Install and maintain pressure system of pipin
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic components and water systems
- Operate various machine tools and equipment
- Carry out special projects and Prepare own layouts
- Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner and know how to properly lock out all energy sources, including stored energy.
- Consult your Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor if you are not 100% sure of how to perform tasks in a safe manner.
- Follow all safety rules, standards and procedures and Know what types of Personal Protective Equipment are required for the jobs in your area and always use them properly.
- Ensure that your work area is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times to prevent accidents and produce quality products.
- Report all unusual circumstances and actively participate in and support Continuous Improvements.
- Follow all ISO Standard Operating Procedures to ensure world-class quality products are supplied to our customers.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Job Requirements :
- Must have atleast 4-5 years of automotive assembly/tooling or assembly
- Must be able to use hand tools, (hand benders, power threaders, hydraulic hose grimpers etc.)
- Some machining skills (lathe, milling machines, drill press, surface grinders etc.)
- Ability to read/interpret blue prints accurately as well as hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
- Knowledge of lubrication systems and air compressors
- Understand precision equipment such as pumps, hydraulic motors, CNC boring mills, and other shop equipment
- Knowledge of adhesive glue systems
- Must have own tools
- Good communication and mathematical skills
