Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service practices.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department of a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
