Senior Endpoint Security Analyst
The client is looking for a Microsoft Defender and CrowdStrike expert with strong expertise in email protection.
Following the acquisition of Richardson, the client is planning to decommission the existing EADLP solution and implement a new EADLP platform within the newly acquired entity, with a subsequent rollout across the entire organization.
This is a long term engagement in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, technical analysis capabilities, the ability to interpret architecture documentation, and experience delivering security projects.
The consultant will contribute to project delivery while also taking ownership of certain initiatives. Strong collaboration skills, autonomy, and leadership are essential.
Language requirements: Bilingual profile preferred.

Project Context
We are seeking a Senior Endpoint Security Analyst to join our team and support the evolution of our cybersecurity capabilities.
In this role, the successful candidate will play a key part in the administration, optimization, and evolution of endpoint and email security solutions, with a particular focus on Microsoft Defender technologies. Responsibilities include implementing and operating security tools, maintaining security infrastructure, documenting processes, and supporting ongoing security initiatives.
Working in an Agile environment, the consultant will actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and planning activities to ensure the successful delivery of cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Security
. Lead incident response and threat detection activities.
. Recommend and operate technical solutions for incident detection, prevention, and response.
. Conduct investigations using security logs and data collected from various security and detection platforms.
. Define, maintain, and publish service health metrics and key performance indicators.
. Plan and coordinate continuous improvement activities to enhance the overall health of assigned services and processes.
. Implement and maintain security controls.
. Identify existing and emerging attack vectors and provide recommendations to mitigate associated risks.
. Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert for security analysts and technicians.
. Plan, coordinate, and monitor vulnerability assessments across the network infrastructure.
. Maintain accurate operational procedures, documentation, and technical guides.
Project Delivery
. Apply corporate information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
. Advise operational and software development teams on information security best practices.
. Support the organization's security teams in designing and executing the information security roadmap.
. Guide IT teams in defining project objectives and security requirements.
. Advise stakeholders on security best practices related to vendor and contract management.
. Contribute to quality assurance activities and continuous improvement of the security function.
. Develop and maintain information security frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures.
. Monitor system operations and manage network security.
. Deploy, maintain, and continuously improve cybersecurity internal controls through ongoing testing and monitoring.
. Gather, analyze, document, and clarify business and technical requirements with internal stakeholders.
. Produce comprehensive, evidence based analyses supported by appropriate documentation.
. Provide professional recommendations aligned with established standards, policies, and governance.
. Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, significant deviations, and root causes.
. Proactively resolve operational issues and recommend process improvements.
. Deliver assigned activities and project deliverables collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
. Support internal clients throughout the project delivery lifecycle while ensuring high quality service.
. Actively participate in Agile team activities, including Sprint Planning, Scrum ceremonies, Definition of Done discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
. Strong understanding of Lean and Agile principles with practical experience applying them in collaborative environments.
. Excellent analytical, problem solving, coordination, and teamwork skills.
. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non technical audiences.
. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
. Customer oriented mindset with a strong focus on internal client satisfaction.
. Demonstrated curiosity, autonomy, rigor, and strong synthesis skills.
. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
. Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is considered an asset.
. Solid understanding of information security processes, controls, reporting, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
. Strong technical knowledge of data processing technologies and IT security solutions.
. Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are considered an asset.
. Knowledge of industry security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and tools, with software development experience considered an asset.
