Who we are
Since 1981, British Swim School has offered premium water-survival and learn-to-swim lessons, teaching everyone from 3-month-old babies to adults.
The position
As a Swim Instructor, you bring energy, an awesome attitude, and a love of children. We’ll train you in our innovative and proven methods. Prior experience working with children OR as a lifeguard/swim teacher is preferred.
Your schedule will be based around weekday evenings, and weekends. You must be a certified lifeguard and able to work at our Orleans location in Ottawa.
Responsibilities
- Teach survival skills and swimming lessons using the British Swim School's unique methodology and curriculum
- Follow our protocols to ensure the safety of all
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their swimming skills
- Show ownership of your classes by following closely your students' progression and updating their skills in the designated system
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns.
