We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Auto Glass Installer to join our team in a permanent full-time position. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and customer care.
As a busy and fast-paced shop with a high volume of work, we are looking for an individual who thrives in a hands-on environment and works well independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace automotive glass and related materials on vehicles and equipment
- Inspect windshields and windows for defects prior to installation
- Remove dirt, debris, foreign material, and broken glass from damaged areas
- Safely remove and reinstall moldings, clips, wipers, screws, bolts, and A-pillar moldings
- Install replacement glass to manufacturer and company standards
- Install rubber channeling and sealing materials to weatherproof windows and prevent rattling
- Perform rock chip repairs and related automotive glass services
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Ensure shop areas are prepared and organized for maximum productivity and efficiency
- Deliver professional, honest, and courteous customer service at all times
- Support team operations and assist with additional shop duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of automotive glass installation experience
- Carpentry or related hands-on trade experience considered an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift and handle glass materials safely
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
