3rd/4th Year Refrigeration Apprentice
On Track HVAC Inc. is seeking a motivated and capable 3rd or 4th Year Refrigeration Apprentice to join our growing team.
This position involves a combination of residential and light commercial service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation work, with a strong focus on heat pumps, refrigeration, ventilation, and HVAC systems. The successful candidate should be competent working independently on residential service calls and heat pump installations while continuing to develop their skills across a wide range of equipment and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Service, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Install and commission heat pumps, refrigeration equipment, ventilation systems, and related mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control-related issues.
- Assist with commercial HVAC and refrigeration projects as required.
- Complete accurate service reports, documentation, and job records.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all safety procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.
Qualifications:
- Registered 3rd or 4th Year Refrigeration Apprentice.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
