Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to deliver timely orders
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling, and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food safety protocols
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
