As demand for our custom-engineered solutions continues to grow, we are seeking a Junior Solutions Engineer to support our sales, engineering, and project teams in developing innovative LED display and media architecture solutions.
This position is ideal for someone with a background in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Building Engineering, Industrial Design, AV Systems, or a related field who wants to build a career at the intersection of architecture, technology, and large-scale project delivery.
About the Role
As a Junior Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our sales, engineering, and project management teams to develop technical solutions for some of the world's most unique LED and media architecture projects.
You will help create technical drawings, support proposal development, coordinate with architects and consultants, and work directly with our engineering and manufacturing teams in China to bring custom solutions to life.
Because this position works closely with both North American project teams and our engineering and manufacturing partners in China, candidates who are fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese will have a significant advantage.
This is a growth-oriented role with a clear career path toward Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Project Manager positions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Drafting
- Create and maintain AutoCAD drawings for proposals, project submissions, and client presentations.
- Develop technical layouts, elevations, sections, mounting details, and installation concepts.
- Assist with Revit and BIM coordination when required.
- Support the creation of technical diagrams, schematics, and project documentation.
Sales Engineering Support
- Support the sales team during the pre-sales process by developing technical solutions and layouts.
- Assist in preparing quotations, equipment schedules, and bill of materials (BOMs).
- Review project requirements and recommend appropriate display technologies and Clconfigurations.
- Participate in client meetings and technical discussions as needed.
Proposal & RFP Support
- Assist with the preparation of large-scale RFP and tender submissions.
- Coordinate technical content, compliance documentation, and product specifications.
- Support presentation and proposal development efforts.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, fabricators, contractors, and internal teams.
- Work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams in China to communicate project requirements.
- Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Support project managers during project execution and installation phases.
Qualifications
Required
- Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Building Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, AV Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred
- Experience with Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Bluebeam, and BIM workflows.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, architectural detailing, AV systems, digital signage, and LED display technology.
Bonus Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is a strong asset.
- Experience communicating with overseas engineering, manufacturing, or supplier teams.
- Experience working with international teams and cross-cultural communication.
- CTS or AVIXA training/certification.
- Experience supporting architectural, construction, AV, lighting, or technology projects.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: CAD $70,000–85,000 per year
