We are seeking two Project Quality Specialists to support the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) project at the Darlington New Nuclear Project site. The successful candidates will ensure project quality requirements are met through inspections, surveillance, documentation, and collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute project quality activities for nuclear construction projects.
- Perform quality inspections and surveillance of site work.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
- Support inspections, testing, and verification activities.
- Resolve quality issues, field changes, and non-conformances.
- Assist with corrective actions and continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear quality standards and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science with 1+ year of engineering, manufacturing, or nuclear QA experience,
- OR
- 5+ years of engineering, manufacturing, or nuclear industry experience without a degree.
- Experience with Canadian nuclear quality standards such as CSA N285, CSA N299, and CSA N286.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Oshawa.
- Preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a nuclear quality role.
- Knowledge of ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001, welding, and non-destructive examination (NDE).
- Experience conducting quality inspections and working with regulatory requirements.
- Strong commitment to nuclear safety culture.
Pay: $33.00-$36.00 per hour
