Roywoods is an established Quick Serve Caribbean Restaurant born in Toronto with multiple locations across the GTA. We're known for bold flavours, quality food, and a loyal customer base built over more than a decade. We're growing, and we're looking for a driven Assistant Manager to help run one of our locations.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support daily operations and help drive the performance of one of our restaurants. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage people, control costs, and step in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling shifts for kitchen staff, serving staff, and delivery drivers
- Planning and coordinating menus, promotions, and marketing initiatives
- Taking responsibility for the overall business performance of the restaurant
- Preparing end-of-shift and weekly reports covering staffing, food control, and sales
- Managing staff and providing ongoing feedback
- Responding to and resolving customer complaints
- Ensuring all employees adhere to company uniform standards
- Recruiting, training, and motivating staff
- Checking stock levels and ordering supplies
- Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances require
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or higher
- A diploma or degree (completed or in progress) in a hospitality field is a strong asset
- Fluent oral and written English
- Previous restaurant management experience is required

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
