Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards. The Licensed Mechanic will also provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and delivering high-quality workmanship. Candidates must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working with various tools and schematics to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic data to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to diagnose problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Assist in assembly or replacement of vehicle parts as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and costs.
- Support team members in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Valid mechanic license.
- Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance; mechanic experience is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely (heavy lifting required).
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Knowledge of automotive assembly processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $32.00-$46.00 per hour
