'Objective:
To provide every guest with a warm, genuine welcome and deliver outstanding service throughout their stay. The Guest Services Representative plays a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by assisting with inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring smooth day-to-day front desk operations. Our customers are what we are about. One of the keys to a positive guest experience is positive interaction with Guest services staff. It is essential that you always remain professional, and that you treat all guests and associates with courtesy and respect, under all circumstances. Every associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day.
'Responsibilities'
- Perform check-in, check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Process reservations, cancellations and modifications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability and status
- Handle cash, credit card transactions and billings
- Monitor and respond to front desk and department emails and phone messages
- Maintain Lost & Found records and assist with item recovery
- Actively participate in the cleaning of public common areas and lobby including, doors, floors and trash removal to ensure a consistently clean and welcoming environment
- Report on maintenance or housekeeping issues to appropriate departments
- Support safety and security protocols and handle emergency situations such as guest illness, fire or safety hazards and any incidents are reported
- Ensure front desk area is clean, organized and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with laundry duties
- Supervise and maintain sundry store
- Ensure compliance with hotel and health and safety policies
- Monitor access to the hotel and report any suspicious activities to management
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless service
- Uphold a positive and professional demeanor with guests and teammates
- Other duties as may be assigned
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
