Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in restaurant or food service settings is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. This position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills, work in a lively environment, and contribute to memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve drinks and food promptly while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area as needed
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience
- Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, personable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
