Barrett Smith Construction is a full-service General Contractor based on the Saanich Peninsula, serving residential and commercial customers across lower Vancouver Island. We are a small team focused on providing top quality work and maintaining positive customer relationships.
We are currently growing, and hiring for the following positions:
- Construction Foreman
- Journeyman Carpenter

Foreman & Journeyman Carpenters:
As a tight-knit team, we depend on a strong work ethic and solid leadership from our senior staff. We expect our carpenters and foremen to be self-starters who bring a high level of skill to the job and can easily communicate with clients and teammates. For high performers we offer additional perks like company trucks, bonuses and profit sharing. Interior finishing skills an asset for this position. Come summer we also run a 9 hour 4 day work week. Helping bring balance to that work and play attitude!
*Applicants with a Class 5 driver’s license will be preferred.
