Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Tempura Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. Duties
- Prepare and assemble Tempura dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Handle food preparation, including ingredient preparation, deep frying , and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in meal preparation for various menu items beyond sushi, as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, particularly in Japanese or Asian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to cook efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience working in restaurants or kitchens with fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques for sushi and Japanese dishes, and Asian cuisine.
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
