Position Title: Sales Representative
Location: Richmond B.C. (V6V 3C8)
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Starting Minimum: $50,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Selling to existing customer base, working with call sheets.
- Weekly collection of account balances from customers (distributing statements, credits, and ensuring all invoices are paid according to terms).
- Grow existing customer base using correct company protocol on new account sign ups.
- Attend regular sales meetings either virtually or in person and yearly March conference.
- Responsible for increasing sales and margin in existing customer base.
- Working on adding new product lines.
- Working with customers to setup weekly advertisements to continue to grow business.
- Selling protein specialties and Made at Centennial items.
- Understanding market conditions, product innovations and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 to 2 years progressive sales experience in a similar sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.
- 1 to 3 years of related industry experience required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
- Ability to work comfortably on computers.
- Self-motivated and able to work in, and outside of an office setting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
