Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services in a friendly dining environment. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Assist with cash handling, processing payments, and managing tabs as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest needs or concerns.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure guest health and satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food service industry.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- A background in the food industry or kitchen operations is a plus.
