We are now on a determined path to growth, leading to great opportunities for both personal and career advancement. We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-directed Bilingual Sales Assistant (Spanish/English).
The Sales Assistant is an integral part of the Arconas sales team and provides administrative and logistical support to the Sales Manager, Account Managers, and VP of Sales, on furniture sales and installation projects both within North America and around the globe. Additionally, the Sales Assistant will provide all administrative support, logistics, and other support services as required by the sales team through an elevated level of professionalism and service attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with creating proposal RFP responses and literature for airport clients, and large transportation and government projects
- Assist Account Managers with documentation requirements
- Prepare courier of product information and finishing packages to clients
- Create and send Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals from our digital library to clients based on their product order – Spec sheets, Warranty, Maintenance, Parts Lists, Installation instructions
- Provide support to the Accounts Managers for quick quotes and simple order requests
- Inside sales for public spaces and small projects
- Monitor and respond to client online chat requests
- Support the Account Managers in resolving issues with orders by investigating and consulting with other departments
- Assists Account Managers with client communication on sales campaigns
- Assists with corporate gifts to clients
- To be a backup for the preparation of quotes, as required by our Customer Service team
- Provide back-up for the VP of Sales
- All other duties, as assigned by their Manager
Qualifications
- Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a sales support role; knowledge of furniture, architectural, airport/transportation or related industry is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English is required. Having excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish will be an asset.
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field
- Strong command of MS Office suite (particularly Word & Excel, PowerPoint), as well as CRM and ERP software; Epicor is an asset
- A positive, self-motivated attitude, strong business drive, and a keen interest in building long-term customer relationships
- The ability to perform duties under pressure and within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Superior organizational skills and work accuracy, with a detail-oriented mindset
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment setting, or in a dedicated home office with reliable internet connectivity to support efficient and uninterrupted work, subject to managerial approval based on operational need
