Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our worksite, ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive environment. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and attention to safety are essential. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills and grow within the company.
Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment around the site
- Support team members in completing daily tasks and projects efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and productivity
- Operate basic tools and equipment as instructed by supervisors
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning or minor repairs as needed
- Support other departments with additional labour tasks to meet project deadlines
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks throughout the day
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a construction or industrial setting (training provided if needed)
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude towards work responsibilities
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
