Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Workers to provide high-quality care to senior residents in need of assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for caregiving, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents. This role involves working closely with seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as dementia support. Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care or working with residents with disabilities
- Follow care plans meticulously and document care provided in compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in senior personal care homes is highly desirable
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia support, medication administration, and caregiving best practices
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and assisting residents with mobility needs
- Certifications in Personal Care Worker course, Food Safety, First Aid & CPR are mandatory.
- Must be reliable, patient, empathetic, and committed to providing respectful care

Pay: $16.35-$22.44 per hour
