Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Railing Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, welding, and installing railing systems with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience with hand and power tools, and familiarity with manufacturing or construction environments. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Assemble railing components using various hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery as needed for material handling
- Use machining skills to modify parts for proper fit and function
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Assist in the installation of railing systems at job sites or within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, railings, construction environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly, welding, and machining techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Previous work involving warehouse logistics or material handling is advantageous
This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should possess relevant technical skills and be committed to producing high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm (with OT as required)
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
