Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our busy and dynamic clinic team.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Manage front desk operations and maintain efficient patient flow
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and discretion
- Schedule and confirm appointments accurately
- Verify insurance and patient information
- Process medical documentation and maintain confidentiality
- Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to support daily operations
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is considered an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology is considered an asset
- Excellent computer skills and comfort learning medical software systems
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Additional training or certification in medical administration is considered an asset
Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to Black Diamond, Alberta, or relocate prior to starting
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate required
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
