Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Field Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role involves coordinating on-site activities, managing project timelines, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering projects efficiently while maintaining client satisfaction and adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Prepare and review construction estimates using industry-standard estimating tools.
- Oversee safety protocols on-site to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor project progress through regular site inspections and reporting; address issues proactively.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, and progress reports efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to communicate project status and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement best practices for construction management using tools like Bluebeam for document review and markup.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or related field with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and techniques.
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively on-site.
- Construction experience across various types of projects is highly preferred.
- Valid experience in managing safety standards on active construction sites is essential.

Pay: $850.00-$950.00 per day
