Red Road Recovery -Sorrento is Hiring for their Location in Sorrento, BC for an immediate opening for a Part-time Housekeeper!
This Recovery Centre is located just off the highway in Sorrento, BC!
We are building our team with the most passionate, experienced folks in the area and industry!
**Reliable Transportation to and from work is required!**
3 Days a week- Dayshift
The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping Red Road Recovery Assisted Living Residence clean to the highest standards and maintaining a pleasant environment for the residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Dust all surfaces including fans, and chandelier
Vacuum carpeted areas.
Sweep and Mop floors.
Properly clean and disinfect upholstered furniture.
Replace toilet paper and hand towels.
Pick up any trash and emptying the trash bins.
Make beds, wash linens, and change the linens of outgoing residents.
Clean windows.
Respond to employee or resident, housekeeping requests
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety.
Notify managers of necessary repairs.
Start laundry, fold, and put away laundry before the end of your shift.
Clean all surfaces, including bathrooms, common areas, kitchen, and offices.
Disinfect all surface areas, including bathrooms, common areas, kitchen, offices, light switches and doorknobs.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
2- 5 years previous experience as a Professional Cleaner
Knowledge of cleaning appliances, and cleaning and disinfecting agents.
Criminal Record Check- Vulnerable Adult Check
Ability to work in a sensitive environment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
