Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Educate patients on posture, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and healthcare standards
Ideal Candidate
- Registered Physiotherapist or Chiropractor in good standing with the their NL regulatory body
- 5+ years experience in patient care is an asset but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients
- Prior experience working in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work empathetically with diverse patient populations and maintain professionalism at all times
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
- Obtains independent professional liability insurance
- Commitment to evidence-based, movement focused and client-centered care
