Position: Service/ Commissioning Technician

Unilux HVAC is a leading manufacturer of vertical stack water-source heat pumps and fan coils for use in high-rise residential projects across North America. This position will be located in London, Ontario. We are growing rapidly and are looking for someone to join our fast-paced environment.
We are looking for an experienced Service Technician with HVAC background to join our growing Service/ Commissioning team. This role focuses on managing commissioning and service issues, with some retrofit heat pump installation.
A successful candidate will be organized, professional, effective communicator, and a proactive problem solver.
Responsibilities:
· Complying with all internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, fire protection.
· Managing and resolving service and commissioning issues that arise.
- Responding to routine and on-demand service requests.
- Receiving, tracking, monitoring, and reporting status of maintenance and repair work within service maintenance management database.
- Performing Retrofit Heat Pump installation where required.
- Maintaining all assigned tools and arranges for repair and replacement where required.
- Ensuring work completed meets quality, contract response and all other requirements.
- Occasional Travel within Canada and United States
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Experience as a Service Technician in HVAC or in Plumbing.
· Knowledge of and experience working with fan coils and/or water source heat pumps
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
- Effective communication skills for the purpose of data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification.
