Early Roots Play to Learn Childcare Centre is currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our small, dedicated team. As a member of our centre, you will help provide high-quality preschool education in a nurturing, play-based learning environment.

About the Role
This position begins as a casual/on-call supply role, with the potential to develop into full-time employment. You will report to the in-program Supervisor and work collaboratively with a team of three educators.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily programming in line with How Does Learning Happen?
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing daily and weekly activities
- Observe, monitor, assess, and report on children’s progress
- Ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Encourage parent involvement through regular and positive communication
- Maintain compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act and all applicable licensing regulations (training can be provided)
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a childcare setting
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with “How Does Learning Happen?” framework
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Reside in Ontario, Canada
