We are a professional building envelope contractor with over 23 years of experience delivering specialized exterior cladding solutions for Commercial, Industrial, and Multi-Family projects. We are currently seeking a full-time Draftsperson to join our growing team.
This role works closely with our Construction and Project Management departments and is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update detailed shop drawings
- Analyze IFC drawings and project specifications to determine scope
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
- Assist Construction and Project Managers to support timely project execution
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Minimum 2+ years of Revit experience (or a graduate with a strong foundational knowledge)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints, particularly exterior elevations and cladding details
- Understanding of building construction practices, with a focus on exterior building envelope systems
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to review and check work thoroughly
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness and eagerness to learn
