Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
- Measure, cut, assemble, align, and install formwork systems for concrete footings, foundations, walls, columns, beams, and slabs.
- Build, erect, and dismantle both conventional and flying formwork systems, as well as gang wall forms.
- Assemble and install shoring towers and scaffolding falsework safely.
- Operate power, pneumatic, and manual hand tools effectively and safely.
- Perform quality checks on completed formwork prior to concrete pours.
Skill & Experience Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of direct experience in concrete formwork, framing, or heavy concrete construction.
- Language: Functional English.
- Strong knowledge of job-site safety protocols and occupational health standards.
Pay: $34.00-$34.01 per hour
