Procurement Management: Onboard vendors to company systems for billing and invoicing. Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures and coordinate payment with the accounting department. Provide timely updates on the estimated arrival of materials in order to ensure proper project coordination.
- Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding quality, quantity, or delivery of security system components.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
- Product Cataloging: Update companies extensive product catalog to reflect most recent products and pricing. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Inventory Control and Management: Responsible for developing and maintaining an inventory management system including monitoring inventory levels, records within ERP, coordination with warehouse staff for cycle counts and materials tracking, controls and just-in-time delivery strategies to reduce carrying costs and waste. Will lead the quarterly and annual inventory audits. Establishing the process and providing accurate valuation records to the Controller as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of inventory processes.
- Collaboration: Assist the Finance Team by participating in company audits, preparing documentation, and helping the Warehouse Coordinator on an as-needed basis.
