Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, maintaining guest satisfaction, and safeguarding hotel assets. This position involves handling guest accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and performing administrative tasks during the overnight shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, hospitality experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and reconciling transactions
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs with professionalism and courtesy
- Respond to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette
- Provide exceptional guest services, addressing needs and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and prepare reports for management
- Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises during overnight hours
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating guest information
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests have a positive experience during their stay
Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations is advantageous
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for communicating with diverse guests
- Familiarity with hotel management software or property management systems is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
