Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and institutional spaces. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
