McMan is looking for Community Disability Services Workers for the PDD Funded Services - Outreach Program in Crowsnest Pass. The Crowsnest Pass is located approximately 140 km west of Lethbridge.
The schedule for this position is primarily Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm - 37.5 hours per week, however flexibility is required to meet program needs.
Here’s how you will contribute as a Community Disability Services Worker within the Program:
- Carry out person-centered plans to support adults with disabilities with their personal development, community involvement, behaviour management and personal care.
- Help individuals make and maintain shared, respectful relationships with others in the community, to support meaningful participation and inclusion, including participation in employment, volunteer, recreational, and other social settings.
- Encourage and help individuals to advocate on their own behalf.
- Create clear and objective records, required reports, and other essential documentation.
- Flexible schedule required as shifts may be a combination of day, evening and/or weekend.

Here’s what you’ll need to get an interview:
- Post Secondary education in human services or related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Six months’ experience in disability services; two years’ experience preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrate professionalism within all aspects of employment, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a team.
- Microsoft Office abilities (SharePoint, One Drive, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Current Standard First Aid CPR Level C or CSA Standard Z1210-17 Intermediate First Aid Certificate.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector dated within past six months.
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License, Driver’s Abstract, and use of reliable vehicle with $2M Third Party Liability insurance.
