We are looking for a creative, confident and outgoing Social Media Content Creator to join our travel agency. This is an on-camera role suited for someone who enjoys creating engaging travel content and is comfortable speaking naturally in front of an audience.
The successful candidate will help develop, film and edit short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Content may include travel destinations, flight deals, vacation packages, travel news, helpful travel tips, trending topics and promotional campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Appear on camera and confidently present travel-related content
- Film engaging Reels, TikToks and other short-form videos
- Create content about destinations, flight deals, travel news, tips and promotions
- Research current travel trends and develop timely content ideas
- Write scripts, captions, hooks and calls to action
- Film and edit content using social media editing tools and mobile applications
- Stay up to date with platform trends, trending sounds and content formats
- Assist with planning and maintaining a consistent social media content calendar
- Work on-site to create promotional and educational content
Requirements
- Must be comfortable speaking and appearing on camera
- Must be confident, outgoing and not camera shy
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok or similar platforms
- Proficiency with editing tools and apps
- Strong understanding of social media trends and short-form video content
- Creative, organized and able to work independently
- Interest in travel, destinations, aviation or the tourism industry
Previous professional content creation experience is an asset, but we are also open to candidates with a strong personal portfolio and a natural on-camera presence.
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
